To: advisory / PM / marketing. From: the person who has to read the WeChat drafts. Subject: the words 低9, 高9, 十三转, 神奇九转.

  1. These words name a consecutive-close structure (nine versus four bars back; 13 is a later countdown after a finished 9). They do not name a transaction.
  2. Do not pair them with 建议, 买入, 卖出, 抄底, 逃顶, 目标价, or a percentage presented as 准确率.
  3. If a client asks “so should I buy,” the answer is that we are not recommending a transaction. Offer the chart. Do not offer a 9 as a catalyst.
  4. Screenshots of vendor overlays travel. Caption them or do not send them. Uncaptioned 9s become other people’s captions.
  5. NineRadar, Tongdaxin, Futu, Bloomberg — none of these is an approved research report. Citing a badge as a rating is not allowed.
  6. Historical closed pairs may be shown with sample size and the sentence that history does not forecast the next bar. Unmatched 9s stay unmatched.
  7. Futures and FX are out of scope for this product conversation. Do not “helpfully” extend the 9 there in client chat.

Questions to the same inbox that already hates me. I would rather get the dull question now than the interesting letter later.
