Use the New York session date, not a fixed 04:00 alarm
A fixed 04:00 alarm is a daylight-time coincidence. The thing to check is the New York session date and whether the scan finished.
Morning checklist
- Write the US session date, not “today” in your city.
- Daylight time: 16:00 America/New_York is 04:00 Asia/Hong_Kong the next calendar day.
- Standard time: the same New York close is 05:00 in Hong Kong.
- Early-close day: use that day’s close, not 16:00.
- If the scan is incomplete, write incomplete. Write “no finished 9” only after the scan completed and the count is zero.
