The 7s fell off the candles

Retail

I used to think the terminal was crashing. The 7 had been sitting under the bar since lunch. After one ugly close it was gone, and so were 1 through 6. I re-added the overlay twice.

A Thursday, 21:07, laptop still on the dining table

Tongdaxin does this on purpose. The stretch is consecutive. Miss the ninth close versus four bars back and the whole run is void. The software does not leave a tombstone. It just unpaints.

I learned that the hard way, staring at a blank lower wick, convinced the formula had unloaded. Formula manager still showed the same script. Quote was live. The 9 had simply not printed.

What I do now when the numbers vanish

I do not rebuild the indicator. I look at bar 9 versus bar 5. If that close did not qualify, there is nothing to mourn. The next stretch starts from scratch. A one-way tape can do this to you three times in two weeks.

NineRadar will not keep an unfinished 7 on the after-close tape either. The tape is who finished. Almost-8 lives in a different bucket, and even that is not a promise that 9 arrives tomorrow.

The first week I treated every vanished count as a data outage. Now it is just the rule, written in empty space. Annoying. Honest.

A count, not an order. Questions: support@nineradar.com.
