Displaying fewer labels does not change the counting formula
This note is about NineRadar’s current display. It does not claim every Tongdaxin formula starts at 6.
Same sequence, two drawings
- Teaching sequence: counts 1 through 9 all pass. While the live count is 6, 7, or 8, the chart paints from 6 through that number. When the count is 9, it paints 1–9.
- The hidden 1–5 are still in the count. Hiding them does not make the math stricter.
- If bar 9 fails, the unfinished labels go away. A finished 9 already on the chart is a past event, not the same as a live label that never confirmed.
