The book already knew the name. The 9 was new.
The name is 4.2% of the book. It finished a daily high-9. Risk asked if we were “trimming into strength.” I said we were logging a count.
High-9 sits above the candle. It is consecutive strength, not a gift certificate for the exit. I have trimmed names with no 9. I have held names through two high-9s. Neither episode is a system. Both are in the journal with dates, because memory lies.
What went on the yellow sticky, which is not an order:
- Date, venue, daily high-9, cash close.
- Whether a 13 is even in play (usually not).
- Whether the last closed pair on this name, if any, is still the last closed pair.
If I cut, it will be because size, thesis, or risk said so. Pasting the 9 into the ticket comment is how you train juniors to worship a label. I have one junior. I would like them to stay skeptical.
A count, not an order. Questions: support@nineradar.com.
