Separate the observed count from any portfolio decision
This scene is teaching. It is not a holding and not an institution. A high-9 is nine closes above the close four bars earlier. What a person does with a position is a separate sentence, and this count does not write it.
Two columns
- Observed: market ____, code ____, timeframe daily, direction high, count 9, session date ____, data status scanned or not in this scan or failed.
- Not observed: any size, any decision, any later close. Leave that column blank or write that it is outside the count.
- A daily high-9 is not a 120-minute high-9. The latest count on a page is the latest in that series, not a claim that no earlier 9 exists.
Perfect is a separate flag. For a high-9 in this implementation, bar 8 or bar 9 of that run has a high at or above the higher of the highs of bars 6 and 7. It is not a quality score, and it is not a rule for how many 9s to wait for.
