The opposite 9 has to exist. Otherwise we wait.
Juniors want a backtest that feels like a video game. Ours looks like a ledger. I have lost that argument twice and reinstated the ledger both times.
The mechanical bit
A finished daily 9 enters a waiting room. It leaves when the opposite finished 9 prints on that name, same venue, same timeframe we claimed. We then compare the later close to the earlier close. Higher or lower. We write both dates.
The refusals
- No scoring versus the next open. Opens are a different sport.
- No scoring versus a discretionary exit two days later “because it felt done.”
- No mixing daily 9s with 120-minute 9s in the same pair.
- No importing a plugin’s 9 if we cannot see the close series.
The waiting room is always too full. That is the point. Trend prints 9s and does not hand you the other shoe. If we emptied the room by force, we would have a beautiful percentage and a dishonest book.
NineRadar will not let you score the open 9s. People call that a missing feature. It is the feature I bought.
